PSL 6 Eliminator 2, Zalmi decideD to field 1st against Islamabad United

In Eliminator 2 of PSL 6, Peshawar Zalmi has decided to field first after winning the toss against Islamabad United. The winning team will qualify for the final. The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that the remaining 20 matches of the Pakistan Super League-6 are being played at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi from June 9 to June 24, after which the national team will leave for Manchester on June 25.
The remaining 20 matches of the tournament, including the qualifier and Element 1 on June 21, include a total of 6 double headers. The first match of the double headers will start at 5 pm UAE time (6 pm Pakistan time) and the second at 10 pm (11 pm Pakistan time). On a day when there is only one match, the match will start at 8 pm UAE time (9 pm Pakistan time).
It may be recalled that Pakistan Super League season 6 started from Karachi on February 20 and the matches of the event were to be played in two cities of the country Karachi and Lahore this time. However, on March 4, Pakistan Super League faced 7 players and other cases. It was decided to postpone after arrival. In April, the PCB, in consultation with stakeholders, decided to hold the event in Karachi again from June 1, but in view of the severity and previous experiences of the third wave of corona virus in Pakistan The request was accepted and the league resumed in Abu Dhabi.
According to the schedule, Eliminator 2 (qualifier losing team and Eliminator 1 winning team) will be held on June 22, rest / training on June 23 and final will be held on June 24. The event was delayed due to logistical and operational challenges that PC faced. BK was out of control. The PCB has agreed to send the squad to England on June 25 by contacting the England and Wales Cricket Board to make the schedule workable for the convenience of players, franchisees, events and commercial partners.
The players and support staff in the national squad will leave for Manchester from the UAE on June 25, from where they will arrive in Derby to take part in the necessary quarantine and training sessions. Practice sessions are scheduled for June 3-8. The national cricket team will arrive in Cardiff from Derby on July 6, where it will play the first ODI of the series on July 8.
